A History of Panjabi Literature, Volume-II, by Principal Sant Singh Sekhon, Professor of Eminence,Punjabi University ,Patiala focuses on the Sufi and the Kissa Poetry. The Sufi Poetry forms a significant enclave within the Punjabi Poetry of the middle period. The Kissa Poetry also makes a major portion of the Punjabi Poetry of the period under reference.
