In this work, the author has made an humble attempt to examine afresh the personality and vision of Guru Gobind Singh, the Tenth Master. He has tried to unravel the real significance of the creation of the Khalsa. The author has attempted to reach the empirical evidence and to understand the Sikh doctrine in its fullness. The ideas and ideology as given by the Tenth Master and also the creation of Khalsa were revolutionary steps in the making of the people wedded to the idea of struggle, spiritual as well as temporal. Guru's personality and his words inspired the people to transform this world into a new social order wherein the values of equality, love, justice, compassion and self-respect shall reign supreme. The author establishes that Guru Gobind Singh is truly a Guru of the whole humanity.
