Harish K. Puri is retired Professor of Political Science and B.R. Ambedkar Chair, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. He has researched and published extensively on political movements, dalits, federalism, politics of ethnicity, caste and religion and terrorism. His other books include Ghadar Movements : A Brief History, Dalits in Regional Context (edited), Terrorism in Punjab : Understanding Grassroots Reality (co-author) and Social and Political Movements (co-editor).
